On the left the painting is signed Container House Jaffa Michael Vokabre 2026 5785 (sic!) Acre

The description of the postcard is printed above on the back of the postcard, upside down, in between where the front scan is superimposed, and where the stamps are placed. The description reads: Marc Chagall 1887-1985 Still Life 1912 Nature Morte Stilleben Oil on Canvas 62,5/78 cm Private Collection The painting, made in dark colours, depicts an abstract-ish still life with a kerosene light on the left, a plate with fruits on the center, a bottle and a jug in the back, a tea cup on the left, a cup on the right, and a plate in the back. The colours are bold blues and reds. The stamp is a 5ILS stamp from the series "Embroidery in Eretz Israel" signed "Judaica Embroidery" with an embroidered sight of Machpella Cave in Hebron.
