Vertical painting in watercolour with ink lines. On the left stands in full height Leopold, an anthropomorphic wolf character. He wears trousers with suspenders and dark loafer shoes, and a blue shirt on top. He has long sleeved dark gloves. On the right is also Leopold, now kneeling on the ground, holding a paw of a dog (peeking from the right of the corner of the painting). This time he wears a 18-century style jacket with lots of buttons, also blue, and has white trousers. Behind are paintings of different Trianon characters.

Scan of the whole back of the postcard, the painting described before is on the left. On the right is a 110 yen stamp, a copy of a woodblock print with two women over buckets. Underneath the stamp is the postmark, depicting "Edo papier-mâché dogs," the "signboard at the entrance to the Yanaka Ginza shopping street," and "daimyo clocks.". Behind, over the address area superimposed a part of the front of the postcard, the towers of Shinjuku over the white outline of Mt. Fuji.
