The painting described before is on the left. On the right above the address area superimposed is the front of the postcard, a black and white photo of a train yard with three steam engines, the postcard is described below as "Tosu re-discovery Railroad Story Hideki Hara | Sofusha 2017". Above is the postal stamp, a standard green 85 yen stamp with a pattern resembling fans and flowers at the same time. Below it at the left bottom corner is the cancellation stamp. The cancellation stamp is the city view from Shiroyama, with the statue of Saigo Takamori on the left, and Sakurajima volcano on the right.

Postmarked in Japan at Kagoshima-chuo Post Office (鹿児島中央郵便局) with a special fukein (风景印) cancellation.
