Postcard: Hotaluna ship docking at Hinode Pier in Tokyo
[Posted: 2026-07-24 14-45 UTC±0]

Vertical painting in watercolour with ink lines, a view from the door on Hotaluna ship, in the center on a pier stands a ship's crew member holding a rope extending to the right. He wears a long sleeved jacket, and on his shoulder has a radio. Behind, with dilluted ink lines, are drawn the rest of the pier and some buildings in the distance.

The scan of the whole back of the postcard, the painting is on the right; on the left above the address superimposed is the front of the postcard, a scene with porters over Nihonbashi wooden bridge. Below is a 100 yen stamp and a By Air Mail Par Avion sticker. The postcard appears to be upside down because of how the painting is placed.
