Ink and watercolour on paper (9,5×13,4 cm.) painting in an antique late-19 early-20 cc. frame.

The scene is from the Container House aka Warehouse 3 aka Hangar 3 where I attempt to sell paintings. One weekend there was an Arab market and it included performances by local gymnasts. The sound here is from then. The background painted is a celestial map from the same day.

The frame is also sourced in Jaffa, at «Palestina Eretz Israel» shop focusing on British Mandate era stuff. It never was used prior to this painting, and is made out of metallic foam with silk ribbon. It’s that silk ribbon and place which gave the idea to paint the market scene.
