Postcard: Secluded oak at Trigorskoye, Pushkin Hills, Pskov Oblast

This postcard was drawn in pen and watercolour at the village of Burgovo of Pskov Oblast in Pushkin Hills.

The postcard shows the «secluded oak» or «solitary oak» from the park of reconstructed Trigorskoye mansion. The oak is named such after Alexander Pushkin’s «If I walk the noisy streets…«. The printed artwork on the front is «Fleeting vision» by «Kryukov V. and K» which is a nod to the verse of «To ***«.

The postcard was sent via a historic post office of reconstructed Bugrovo village. The exhibition is not a proper post office, but they do accept mail and transport it to the nearby actual post office. The word «Bugrovo» was written with a quill and ink.

One of the stamps was accidentally placed upside down.
