Tokyo, Jiji from Kiki’s Delivery Service.
Plush Jiji the cat from Studio Ghibli’s “Kiki’s Delivery Service” at Kotobukiya shop in Akihabara in Tokyo. Drawn in brush markers in Tokyo on an early 20th century postcard of Tokyo Station. Mailed from Tokyo using an “International Letter Writing Week 2015” stamp. Note a backstamp (in-transit postmark) of Moscow Vnukovo airport post sorting office placed in the middle of the drawing. This not necessarily welcomed “creative” stamping occasionally happens with postcards.
