Around the Statue of Peace, Helsinki

The cityscape around the Statue of Peace (sculpted by Essi Renvall) in Helsinki. Drawn with ballpoint pen on the New Year’s day, on a postcard with a reproduction of 1949 travel poster by Gunnar Forsström. The drawing is signed as “Port of Helsinki, Steam Coffee”, which is a slight mistake, as the postcard was indeed drawn at the Port of Helsinki terminal, adjacent to the sight drawn, but not at “Steam Coffee”, but “Robert’s Coffee”. Mailed from Helsinki on the same day using a standard stamp.
