Elektrozavodsky Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon
[Posted: 2014-10-08 15-46 UTC±0]

1944. May 15. Elektrozavodskaya metro station of Moscow metro is opened. One of the stations that were built during the war, when bombs were falling on the city every other day. The station was bright and gorgeous and this event definitely brightened the day for Muscovites of that time and definitely helped the commuters of the East of Moscow.
To this day this station impresses with its beauty and helps commuters to get wherever they want to be.

1997. Legend Entertainment released a adventure game called Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon designed by Josh Mandel. The game is based on the series of books under the same name written by Spider Robinson, which feature a bar of rather an unusual kind, the one with strange creatures and strange stories. It’s hard to make a good game based on a book, but the team absolutely succeeded. It’s a great game with great graphics, texts and multiple story arcs, each with its own atmosphere and quests.

Not so long ago. An author of this texts watched the let’s play of the game made by Pushing Up Roses until the moment where a location called an “Underworld Centre” has appeared, when he realised that there’s something going on.
And so, two stories crossed over.
