Postcard: Guardian Lion at Petrovskaya Embankment, St. Petersburg

The sculpture in the shadows on the left is one of two Guardian lions at Petrovskaya Embankment of St. Petersburg. Those were made in Manchurian city of Jilin and installed in St. Petersburg in 1907. The postcard is of an unusual format, the writing area is smaller than usual, and it is made out of thick cardboard. The postcard is designed by Ann Opšteine.
